How this Fast Diet Lifestyle works: Eat these meals tomorrow, for a calorie total of less than 600. On another day this week, eat the meals from a different post, another day of eating 600 calories or less. Eat sensibly the other days of the week. That’s it: a simple way to lose weight and be healthier. Join me in the Fasting Lifestyle.
Some people cannot bear to try a new diet if they think that they will have to give up meat. Why would they? Meat and poultry are very good choices for the Fast Dieter, due to their high protein and low carbs. Primates like us have been eating meat for millennia, along with fruits and grains and nuts. [The Paleo Diet as originally stated, wrongly thought that our ancestors’ diet consisted of meat in large quantities.] We are conditioned to eat and digest meat protein. A friend’s husband once told her that she could try cooking ‘gourmet food’ as long as he got his ‘gourmet meat with his gourmet potatoes’. Well, on Fast Days the potatoes are out, but today meat is in. One of the beauties of the Fast Diet/Lifestyle is that very few foods are off the table — on a Fast Day, you eat in moderation and on a Slow Day, you eat more or less as you wish.
Meat at breakfast, meat at dinner. Dig in!
